Its sonic character is very well defined;a remarkably open midrange as is the mid-treble region, dry and tight mid-bass, a very slightly rolling top end and noticeable deep bass". It is the clever balancing of all the characteristics, without any steps or humps which creates a pleasing, introspective and detailed sound which is never tiring...

In short, the ikarus is a "fast" amplifier but neither cold nor impersonal..

The Ikarus is in fact an excellent product, rich in personality, refined, easy to use, very pretty, but most of all, it is a high class product.
